hey guys.. my 5L EB it starts fine, then idols fine for 10 seconds or so... then just turns itself off

Could be ECU or fuel pump. Pump is priming so it starts, then stalls. I would look at those 2 first

As soon as the pump stops would cut the engine almost instantly, no pressure behind the injectors.

does it stall if you keep the acelerator down a little? could be ISC.

it was water entering the engine somehow.

How many kms has the car got. Pump doesn't have to stop. Maybe when you're on acc, the pump primes the line and has decent fuel pressure. But then when you start, it has trouble keeping the pressure.

Are you starting warm or cold? If warm, could be coil or TFI.

Check internal fuse ??
