evening all, i have a friend who owns a 5.0 EB GLi, and the other day it stopped going...

installed new dizzy cap, plugs, rotor button, ign module, coil and now it runs like this:

any ideas as to what it could be?

it backfires and carries on too.

hey mate i have a 5.0L eb fairmont ghia and i had a very similar problem and i went to mechanic after mechanic and they all said something different and all it ended up being was dirty injectors and yours sounds like a fuel problem to me so start by checking your fuel pump because they can lose pressure and then check the fuel filter and work your way up to the injectors if you pull them out and see dirt and s**t on the bottom of them get them proffesionally cleaned it also pays to take the tank out and clean it to.hope ya get it sorted
