I have recently replaced a broken trans mount on my eb and now i have a bit of a vibration at 80 km, most noticeable on deceleration.
The new mount i got looked to be slightly higher, thicker than the old ford one.
I wondered if the back of the trans was sitting slightly higher now, would that cause a vibe?
I couldnt really compare the mounts because the old one was so rooted and i wasnt sure if it had squashed over the years.
The ford mount seemed to be fluid filled and the one i replaced it with was just a rubber mackay brand unit.

if the angle of the front yoke is different (due to sitting higher) than that of the angle at the rear then yes it will vibrate. the angles of each yoke must be practically identical so that any vibration is canceled out

Went down to ford and they are getting me in a trans mount, so i can compare and see if that is the prob.
The diff pinion already points down because of the super lows also so that wont help.
