A killer 302 combo, money no object eh? Ex V8 supercar donk, intake trumpets & all.

Seriously though, your shopping list should look something like this:
Stock freshened & re-balanced bottom end (rings, bearings etc), 70mm MAF & TB, Performer RPM II intake, 30lb injectors (& Walbro 255lph in tank fuel pump) AFR 185 heads (get valve relief notches machined while pistons are out), 1.6 roller rockers with Comp Cams XE282HR (hardened pushrods, upgraded valve springs & lifters to suit), Di Fillipo extractors, hi flow cats & 3" system. Tune it all with a TwEECer. Ensure machining, gaskets & chamber sizes create a static compression in the high 10's & piston to head clearance of 0.040"-0.050". 98RON premium all the way.

There are other combos that will produce a similar result, but the above parts & machine work should be easy to get hold of here in OZ.

with that cam and head package, when will the torque curve come in, i dont want to rev it past 6g, a nice strong torque curve between 2500 and 5000 would be nice, well im going to hunt around for the best prices, the performer rpm intake i can get for 800, which i think isnt too bad? the heads are 1,300 i think? with no valve components, what springs, valves, retainers should i be looking at getting? crow
