I have an ED V8 with a 302 windsor is it possible to change the rear main seal in the car

yeh gotta pull gearbox out..

did mine coz it was leakin..

turns out it wasnt that anyway.. but oh well it was old so good thing to have replaced it anyway.. otherwise pulling gearbox out n reinstallign woulda been a waste

Nope it's a one piece lip seal.
