Hey guys,

Need an answer asap but when installing an edelbrock performer manifold or any aftermarket intake for that matter onto a Aussie based 5.0L do you need to have a phenolic spacer there as well to clear the wiring/injectors etc?

Cheers!

No,
Although some Trickflow intakes(the TFS-R specifically) don't clear the steel heater pipes or the fuel rails for that matter.

Pete.

Yep there can be issues with fuel reg too..
But generally they will fit without too much trouble...

Went to rocket and bought one anyway.. Doesn't foul any more. I have no idea what it was touching though. I suspect it was the heater pipes as you said Pete.

Thanks guys!

No problems with Clearance on the RPMII, when reversed it cleared the fuel reg and all associated goodies easily
