Hey fellas,

Seeing as there is no coolant port into the egr on the cobra manifold, what do i do with the original line that is there from stock? do i just plug it up?

Thought i had all the lines sorted out, popped some water into it to check for leaks, and a little bit of water ruched out that line

Cheers

Ben

The Cobra EGR spacer should have coolant hook-ups, mine does. Maybe someone swapped it for an Explorer EGR spacer??? The bosses should however be cast into the EGR spacer. Just drill them with a 5/16" drill and hammer a 1/4" pipe into them.

But you can block them off or join them together if you want a quick-fix.

If you look at the back of that line where it joins the manifold, (left rear from the front of the car), it has a corrosponding line on the other side of the manifold(right rear from front of car). To get you out of trouble you can just join these 2 together with one long length of hose.

Did you get a second hand Cobra manifold? Otherwise the coolant lines are there already.

My 93 Cobra didn't have coolant lines..
I bought it as kit with injectors, maf, throttle body and EEC..
The Sprint engines did have coolant lines fitted...

As EBXR says; Cobra intakes don't have it. Aussie Sprint intakes have a shorter t-body flange and the EGR spacer bolts on as it would on a stock HO intake.
Just plug the intake coolant holes.
