I have to tell you about a rare find i found.A 1998/1999 el fairmont ghia v8,tickford bodykit,showroom condition,53 000 ks.14 000 grand.These el fairmont ghia v8 are rare as rocking horse s*** over here.I am going to check it out tommorow.

i was looking for EL V8's a few months ago in Perth. i agree that they're rare, but there was no way i was going to pay $14k for one. I sold my EF fairmont a couple of years ago for $5K and an EL isn't 3x better.
that money would probably buy an AU2/3 ghia (probably with the full tickford body kit too) - better all round than the EL IMO...
