I would guessing if its in Excellent condition, around the 13k mark, should see it sold quickly, might be worth asking 14 though.
Just have to see what the market determines, as you said with fuel prices, they certainly wont help your cause...

I'm selling my EL V8 Ghia and I have had no bites for 6 weeks.
Mine has full leather interior Ford premium sound XR8 bodykit and lowered on Bilsteins and Lovells superlows. I've dropped my price to $10500.

The fuel price is killing my chances of selling my car. I started at $12500 and now at $10500. I wont go any lower. It'd be worth keeping the car rather than selling it for less.

Good luck gunit18.

Very nice sounding car you have there gunit....I reckon you'd get $25K for such a beautiful car.....just kidding due to my biased opinion.

14K is a worth while attempt as I have the V8 aswell can also feel the crunch of the fuel prices, but nothing will make me sell it at the moment.

There are some real nice ghias getting around for cheap now, id love to get one for 2nd family car but they cost too much to run for the cheap/s**t car to be honest.

Ive stopped driving the FBT for now, back a POS to get around in, if i go out then i might take the FBT, maybe.

kms and petrol are killing me lately.
this wasnt a problem when i got the car 10-11 months back, very upsetting, doubt its worth selling tho, wont get s**t for it prolly.. as always, might see what she worth.

Your car, id put up for 14k, it will sell eventually as they are sort after, thing is the high fuel prices will be putting people into shock and wont be "willing" to upgrade to thirstier engine just yet, give it some time till things cool or people get used to it.

As they say, if you can afford an 8, you can afford not to worry - lets hope this is true.

i'm not too sure about the V8's being the "thirstier" option...... just about everyone i know with a V8 is getting better fuel economy than my XF!

All you need to do is read people's posts of how many kilometers they get to a tank around the city and highway, and the V8's definately not as good on fuel.

Even from the factory in brand new spec figures of fuel economy are higher for V8's. Maybe your XF needs a bit of attention.....my car gets between 330kms - 350kms on a tank of fuel around the city and about 550 - 600 on the highway....killer

I agree, in stop start/short trip situation the fairlane is also killer, getting roughly same kms as yours.

Thats the whole reason the keys to the FBT will be hung up n dusty for while.
