The fans on my el v8 only switch to high speed when the car is already hot(around 3/4) and then they dont stay on for long enough,is there any way it can be wired up so they only come on at high speed when they do come on?
Honestly the low speed on the fans is useless, when the car is moving it is ok and sits on about 1/4 but as soon as you get in stop start traffic the fans cant keep up on low speed.
Radiator is brand new as is the water pump and thermostat

I have el thermo fans on my eb v8 and they only work at high speed when they come on and i have no problems with the eb at all, it just has a davies craig thermo switch that goes in the top hose.

Well if they are comoimg on high at 3/4 you prob have a problem with the temp sender for the ecu.

It is possiable to wire them so to come on high only, the EL ecu puts out two feeds to control them three relays behind the passengers head light. simple find the low speed wire of the two, and conect that up to a single relay to control both fans. im not sure of the colours but there both blue with a tracer on them, grab a diagram and find out
