can any1 help me on fitting the v8 electronic shift kits you can get on ebay got the instruction but unsure of the wires to connect to and if it need to go to the ecu or tcm any help would be much appreciated thanks

Hey bud - should be pretty simple stuff.
You'll be connecting it to the Trans Control Module. Now, im not sure what the thing looks like so maybe you could give us a description... hopefully there's 3 wires coming out of it which need to be hooked up... ? What do the instructions say?

there are 3 wires 2 blue and a green with the on/off switch should be simple just dont want to f**k the car up rather be safe the sorry cheers

Okay... can you tell which wire is for what? Anything in the instructions you were given?
You will be cutting one wire in the TCM loom and stripping some insulation off the other. So yeah... what info does the instructions have?

it says to locate the tcm in the v8
the determine witch wire you need to cut or tap into from the wiring diagram, look at the wiring diagram carefull match the wires, now cut and solder the wires together, tape the soldered joints, its says ecu side with pin 7 on a blue side and pin29 for the green wire and on the trans side its got a blue wire and pin 7 and then the switch if that helps |

does that mean that both blue wires in either side of the box go to the same wire
