Exactly. This is exactly how I'd like to be.
I hope to god that I don't get the horsepower bug. My wife will kill me.

What sort of figures did you get Timmeh? There are some good EL XR8's on the market near me ATM. I'm thinking one would make a nice weekend car with the same mods.

I'm getting a 3 inch exhaust tomorrow and currently doing some major surgery to the plenum chamber and runners on the EXPLORER. Got some new tyres/wheels FINALLY as well.

Yeah but its not tuned so its got a computer rated for 185kw not 220kw like yours. So my mods won't be as effective as a 220kw T2TE50 stock.
Tomorrow is dyno day for my car so I'll let you know what I've got at the wheels.

GT MAF and 24lb injectors won't be installed until I can afford to get a custom tune. (Damn those finicky GT ECUs only working in GTs )

What'll you be using for the tune? TwEECer, Eliminator, chip etc?

From reading the thread I got the impression that he hasn't got a GT ECU. I'll stand corrected if you personally know the car however. You're a bit closer than me.

Nah I don't have a GT ECU. I'm running my EL 2 XR8 ECu and I'll go for a switch chip eliminator. Hopefully Xtreme Ford Tuning can do the Eliminator when I an afford it.

Stay Tuned I'll be posting my Dyno results in about 2 hours time.
