Compare your engine number to the following page. http://www.falcongt.com.au/id.html

In the end all the EFI windsors from the E series are much the same, except heads and intake manifolds.

Car and engine look like an EB V8 to me. If the eng has been changed it looks again like out of an EB, or EF/EL with the EB fan fitted.

Make sure you locate a manual ECU too for your conversion, unless you are handy with a soldering iron. You can put in some resistors to trick you existing ECU.

the engine numbers ar on the pas side of the motor below the last spark plug nearest to the firewall, you may find you will have to remove the spark plug lead and get a strong flash lite to see it.

you could have a EF/EL motor if it starts with JGSW,

Reason i say this is when i got my EB i found it didnt have the motor in it that it said it was on the rego papers, so i had to blue slip it, found out with the new motor eng number that it cam from a EF/EL.

if i am wrong some one tell me so please

I once saw a Toyota L/C (shorty) 45 series with a Chev 350 in it with an HQ 253 engine number stamped on it. Had the blue mod plate on it too.
Work that one out.???
