Hi boys, i need some exhaust suggestions.
i got 351 extractors, they going on a ute, and i want the pipes to come out infront of the back wheels.. I want the V8 sound!!!, but i want it to be all legal.
Does the cross flow pipes work? i see it on commodores alot where the pipes X.
Whats ya suggestions!

I put Tri y's on my 351 Clevo,split system,Redback,sounded a bit f@rt,

Put in a H pipe,toned it down,nice idle,open her up, :shock: :shock: :shock:

So it aint loud when the pig fcukers are around,but get on the secondries and,just enjoy.

its on straight LPG no petrol., when you say H pipe thats like the X

you might want to check but i thought it was illegal for the pipes to finish before the back wheels

Check your local laws ..
in QLD,,,
The exhaust outlet must extend at least 40mm beyond
the furthermost outboard or rearmost joint of the floor
pan that is not continuously welded or permanently
sealed which could permit direct access of exhaust
gases to the passenger compartment, but not beyond
the perimeter of the vehicle when viewed in plan.

as per Qld rules .. work that sucker out ...

nah its not, as far as i know same law as QLD

X is prolly better,but mine is just like an H,a pipe at 90* to the zorst pipes

thanks, ill do it, what about mufflers, redback? ive never heard of them
