Hi guy's/gals, i've recently converted my FE ltd from efi 6 auto to 302 cleve dual fuel with c10 auto, interested in seeing other conversions & or exchange ideas, i retained the heater system etc, not a show car, just wanted a good clean tidy engine bay, 35 years of mechanicing ya' realy get to hate dirty cars, i've also replanted my xb wagon that i had fitted with an XE 2b carb xflow with a ZL fairlane efi 6 auto full time gas......tom

I have an FE LTD and have often thought about putting a weezer in it for EPA reasons. How did you overcome the heater issue and are you running straight gas or duel fuel?

was a challange, couldn't get info elswhere, used 90deg 1/2'' polly, standard rocker cover just sits under the left hand heater pipe(looking from the front), after installing the v8 i realised i only need to do the left not the right pipe, if you want i can send you a pic decent size to ya' email addy, i will be posting pics of the full project soon...tom

Would be good to see a pic. Were you the one looking for a 90deg elbow? How did you get around emmision regs and engineering?

this is my 1st post on this forum/site, the FE efi is quite easy anti polution setup and can be diverted back into a 4B carb v8 setup, or if you run the v8 full time LPG, will be even easier, send a blank email to tomscompserv@msn.com & i'll send a decent size KB pic.,
engineering side of it ended up easier than thought but had to invent it as i went along but used a combo of the FE gearbox mounts and fairlane c10 gear (v8 and auto came out of a zj fairlane), there is an alternative to the heater pipes is that you can off set the v8 & auto forwards by 1" providing you run thermo fans as i do, shouldn't need to extend drive shaft but not sure about that..tom
