Does it really matter what brand oil filter, fuel filter you use? are the ryco ones ok or are the genuine ones from ford better?

Stick to the ryco ones, they are fine and most likely cheaper then ordering replacements through ford

I used to use only Ryco filters but they are now cheap a*** crap that is made in China. The quality has gone to s**t.
I now use Coopers. They are not as good as Ryco used to be but better then Ryco is now. The dont have the Ryco price tag and I change my filter every 5000kms without fail so they are good enough.

I use genuine oil filters. You'll see why in the pics.

Pcked up a Motorcraft filter for $10 from Fairford Spares. Not really that bad in price for a better product.

Hi all...

Only genuine motorcraft one my car as all three of us use AFL1's we buy them in qty's of 20 for 90 bucks i think :? from Keith Gill's in griff

for the g/f's fiesta I buy coopers as they guarantee to be made to original manufactures spec and I can get these 1 by 1 as we use them (not as often as AFL1's)

Also only use genuine motorcraft for the fuel filter... the extra bucks is well worth the piece of mind you have the best filter technology around...

NGK are the best you buy in widely available plugs...

Cheers,
Tim
