Just a quick question to ease my curiosity. :P

Does the AU intake manifold have the hole tapped into the intake runner same as the HO manifold for the intake air temperature sensor :?:

If not, have people been drilling and tapping the manifolds to suit, or relocating the intake air temperature sensor to somewhere else ??

It is usually relocated to the intake pipe, as per the AU's. Cause the AU intake manifold doesnt have this provision.

Yeah exactly just install it in the intake pipe or even easier in the airbox.

Sounds easy enough, would just involve extending the wires to reach hey.

Have also seen these tapped into the upper manifold, toward the front underside of the plenum - I think there's already a posi for a fitting there.

Joe rang me the other day with some questions about getting some turbo's passed.
Asked him about what your up. Might of gave him a fix on getting a convertor box to fix your speedo problem. Only side affect of that is it may rev a couple of hundred rpm or so before shifting. Not that thats a problem though, I reckon they shift too early anyway.
If I have a bit of time I will pop around, but I've got a bit of work on at the moment, so I cant promise anything.
