HELP PLEASE....

EB XR8 motor and ecu.
Hoping this has happened to someone on the forums, car revs but starts to cut out and sputter over 3,000rpm.

Accelerates but not that well, sputters and coughs above 3,000.
like its hitting a revlimiter or something similar.

any ideas,
Just adjusted the TPS as it was showing 1.4v at idle.
Any ideas with what i should check

OK WILL TRY THOSE,

Thanks Timmeh, adjusted it to that. with the guide to tuning the 5.0 in the forums. Hoped that would fix it but still doign it.

Will check the filter etc...

Still able to drive just have to keep the revs low and only a lil bit of throttle. can't go full throttle as it just doesnt want to go anywhere.

do you think it could be a stuffed maf, checked it and the wires look clean & good so yeah?????

Unplug MAF, see if there is any difference. Without MAF it will be a slug down low, due to little if any timing advance

Mine cuts out at about 3000rpm aswell, but doesnt splatter as you said, it just accelerates a lot slower, and then it will kick back in again..
