In these times of high petrol costs, I just love it when you pull up next to Mr. Suit at the lights in his Korean econobox and rattle his windows with the low bass tones of your 5.0 at idle.

You can see what he is thinking as he pretends not to have a look at your slammed luxo-cruiser: 'I wish I had one of those but the missus made me buy this.'

That's what owning a V8 is all about. No compromises, life is too short to be driving a little buzz box. 8-)

Mike

You summed that up pretty well, the only thing worse could be a small convertible, showing that you don't have a girlfriend, you are gay.

once you've driven an 8 you'll find it very hard to go back. i do shift work so am never really in traffic and manage about 400 - 430 to a tank (68L).

thats complete with aftermarket computer (microtech) with no closed loop function and 3.9 diff gears.

needless to say, if i give it a bit, it loves to drink.

don't worry too much about the e series v8's not being too flash in standard form. au parts are relatively cheap and easy to come by these days and give it a nice lift.
