Depends how you drive it. I own a an ef 8 and continous highway use I get around 10.2L/100K/s , around town in 50K zone I get about 16.5L/100K/s but depends on your right foot.

Like revhead said. :)

My EF returned 10.2/100km on BP Ultimate on a 1000km trip last weekend.

Around town it varies from 14-17/100, but you really have to drive easy to get the lower consumption.

Mike

Mike whow much fun is it when you get someone in the car with you asking about fuel economy and on the instant fuel use screen you can show 99L/100 from standing start then laugh at the jaw drop.

Both the i6 & V8 drink with a heavy foot, I drive my V8 Lane to work on 2 motorways 5 days a week & I spend $70 p/w on juice and do about 72kms in a return trip, if driving a V8 in bumper to bumper/stop start traffic the V8 really drinks the juice.

An 8 EL? Dont waste your time, their not that much better, they do weigh more and the resale wont be as good (exp. as time goes on). Plus paperwork costs, not worth it.

Save and get a Lotus Elise :)

LOL!

Stocky V8s are pretty pointless when you think about it. But I just LOVE the sound and torque that a 6 just can't deliver. It's a pleasure to drive every day. Cut back on the beers and petrol cost isn't an issue.

Mike

6's are fairly easy to get cheep extra power if you own an older 8 it's because you want an 8. No other way to put it.
