Does anyone else have a problem if you overfill an EF V8. If you overfill my fathers car sometimes the car stalls even while driving. But after a couple of minutes its fine, could anyone shed some light on this problem

only thing i could think of would be the charcoal canister getting a gutful of fuel vapour or liquid, since it cleans itself using the vacuum from the inlet manifold the car might run rich enough to stall. Its a long shot but thats about the only way I can think of. but it is also supposed to be cut of from the fuel tank when running by a soleniod I think so check that out.

I've never heard of this problem, it could be the purge canister like macca13 said, the only other thing I can think of is the breather hose could be blocked and the tank is forming a vacuum with a full tank, although that would be a bit of a long shot...
