Hi All,

Can anyone tell me where the fuel regulator is located in an EB 5.0L .

Also how to test, remove & replace.

Problem is hard to start but once started runs o.k. It seems the fuel system depressureises after switching engine off. Already replace fuel pump.

Thanks in advance.

Fuel regulator is behind the throttle body with the red vacuum hose going into the top, to test you will need a guage mech or elec ,plumb it into the drivers side front fuel rail where there is a valve like on you're wheels,
fuel pressure should be 39-41psi with vac hose off,
fuel pressure should not drop by more than 10% of max pressure in 10 mins, if so you may have a leaking injector, or regulator or elsewhere in the fuel system;
good luck,I use a good quality oil pressure guage when I do my adjustments ,If you do the same do not leave on when not using due to fire hazzards

A good replacement is the Kirban adjustable, I run this on my 5.0 and it bolts directly into the Factory position, is also made of good grade polished aluminium so looks trick as well. Available from jegs.com in the states

Yes, thats the reason i got an adjustable, for NOS. not really necessary. I cant remember what i paid for mine, was about 120 or so. I use it to increase base pressure when the NOS is activated. I usually take the base pressure up to 45psi, and cause of my 24lb's injectors, i only run 35 psi without the NOS. This helps the economy a bit and stops fouling of the plugs when not on NOS( 99.5% of the time )

3 bolt for our motors, and a Walbro 255gph intank pump is more than enough for this application. Do a search in this forum for NOS FOR ME by me and all your questions should be answered

Pretty much, will be wired up differently, and you can tap into the fuel rail via the plug they use to test fuel pressure, just remember to tune it with the smallest shot first, then slowly increase until it starts to detonate, then go 1 or 2 jets smaller. Over use of NOS will destroy your motor quicker than you will know. Be very careful and dont go chasing every last kw, or it will pop on a stock motor
