I went and got a quote to convert my eb v8 to straight gas vapour injection-
3000 after the govt rebate was a bit pricy for me but this does sound like a good option.
The guy said they could tune the gas computer to achieve the same hp or a little bit more maybe.
Has anyone else thought about getting this fitted to their car?
Companys name is rage racing

My mate is getting this down to his car.............but his is a 6cyl so more injectors and work for an 8. IIRC total cost is $3,500, then he can claim rebate :)

Whats is the rebate atm?

The rebate is 3000 and the total cost before the rebate is 6000.
Who is your mate getting to fit the injection?
I think they charge roughly 3500 for a standard gas setup before the govt rebate.

Im trying to find some places for this also
A few places seem to have the same sorta pricing
$3300 for a ring setup, and something like $4700 for the injection.

Hey Shannon.

Do they happen to have a green VU holden SS ute as a test mule?
I have seen one get down the drags with injected LPG and that was pulling low 13's with nothing else other than the gas set up.

Seems like a good option in this day in age, especially with uncertainty with fuel prices.

Id prefer injection but the extra cost, im sure could buy some mods to make up for the loss

rage did my brothers car. au v8 converted to dedicated injected gas. its recently been back in for a stroker build as well. haven't heard how its going but due to it being dedicated gas its been built to suit. i think he has it running over 10:1 compression. many options with lpg.

Was that price fitted and tuned with the profire computer?
If it was then that is cheap.
It costs in wa, roughly 3000-3500 for a stock gas setup
