Hey, I'm posting this for my brother - he bought some gauges and he went to install them today (the oil pressure gauge) - he said that it was sitting at 90, when the average should be 60, and when he revved it, it would go off the scale (max was 100), and he doesn’t know if he hooked it up wrong, or if its his car or what...

Oh..He has an XR8 ute (why i posted in the V8 part), and is a full mechanic

Personally I don't know anything about cars, but yeah he loves them and doesn’t really want to pay to get this professionally installed, cause its like $600..anyway..could anyone help?

PS - Sorry if this has already been answered - just link me to the thread if it has...

well I havn't told my brother yet, but I don't think that will help him, i'll show him tomoroow anyway (hes asleep now)

Did you install it yourself or get a pro to?

What did you connect it to if you did?

Be as technical as you want cause I'm sure he'll understand it ;)
