I will. This is the first time I've gone to this extent modifying my car.
I'll try and get it dyno'd before and after I get this done.

If the same extractors fit the E7s then I should be right then. I'll just need new leads and different spark plugs gapped bigger I think.
If I can wangle the missus to allow me to get Pacemakers I will otherwise I'll stick with the GT extractors.

I guess it wouldnt hurt to get some nice chrome rocker covers if I can find any with the breather.

While the heads are off i would factor in port matching your intake and exhaust manifolds to your heads as well for maximum benefit

Hell no. By all means port match the intake but DO NOT port match the exhaust manifold to a GT40P. Do not even enlarge the port at all. Those heads have a reversion problem in the lower right corner & the only way to minimise it is to have a step down (ie larger manifold size) where the manifolds meet.

http://www.diyporting.com/gtpex.html Pay close attention to the velocity map near the bottom of the page. Also note that the best overall result came from blending the inside of the port & enlarging the exit made it worse.

Im pretty sure they had the same as the EL GT.

GT40s, not Ps. The Ps seem to be the only one in the GT40 group that require the angled plug boots from what I have read.

According to the FPV website, the 1998 FBT had GT40P's.

All will be answered when we get the allowance for the front yard. Then the heads can go on.

On another note Crow Cams have selected a cam for me the 621354 is $620, the springs are $105, retainers $132 and locks $19.
On the website its the high performance cam for manual trans. MMM

ELGT extractors will bolt up to 40P's with NO problems. You will require the 90deg boot leads though.
