Back again......

Seems like its a never-end saga with this car!

A couple of weeks ago, I was driving home, Halfway back from Brissy, ive gone to flick to Highbeams, and they flashed once and completely went. No high beams, no headlights, only the parkers. Flicked back to normal, got the Headlights back again. Tapped the flasher, same result as going to Highbeam. What went wrong?? Ive Changed the fuses, globes and relays, checked the wiring. Still no improvement. I don't understand.

Cheers,
Shannan,

if you checked all as you say,did you use a wiring diagram, then may be the column -indicator/headlight assy is shot.or you have loose contacts cables.start at the steering wheel and go thru the wiring.do you have a mutimetre-test and check,a pain and time waster -but you will find it

I had same problem. Got the Shiits with it (did everything/swapped/changed parts etc. Even took out 1 high beam to see if globes were drawing too much current).

Ended up wiring my own new 60A relay onto the high beam circuit (Took signal from high beams - used that to turn NEW relay on, then connected that new relay to high beams)

Hope that helps

Now it works fine. No probs at all.

Check the voltages at the relays as they change to determine if any wires have been crossed.
