oh yer i spose for the auto ud want good off idle poke and the 26/270 must be the borderline..

well the extractors are free! they're big difilippo ones so that was a bit of a task.

and also that pesky engine dress is off.. pete, i tried wot u said by swingin it and it didnt work.. seems as tho sittin for a few days made it a bit easier and the right application of spanner force and a big twist got it.

next is gearbox bolts, and engine mounts.. then cometh the lift to pull the wee block up so i can right my big-a** wrong. maybe give the sump a cleanout too..

Now is a good time to get a sump that actually holds some oil.
Get a High energy pan for it.

BTW if you want to know how to get kicked off the tickford club forum just dump s**t on Ford dealers

Someone was complaining about their dunlop tyres they got on their GT. So I went off complaining about the trouble weve had with our XR6T dunlops and some other warranty issues and basically that Ford dealers just don't give a s**t about warranty generally. So they edited my post so I called them biased C*** and they couldn't handle it.

yeh you would think that theyd work to resolve it or reason with you to pursue a different means of resolution instead of just plain editing the post..

Well it's quite obvious that your allowed to complain only about certain businesses. Turns out the person that started the thread is in cahoots with a certain ford dealer. But, I'll continue to tell it like it is wherever I go. There's plenty of other forums to get kicked off  I may even start a website dedicated to it!!!

The std gear is STEEL. Only flat tappet cams use iron gears.
Use the new plastic one.
