The heater in my DL LTD does not seem to put out any hot air. The heater tap seems to be working ok tho. Is there a flap inside the heater unit under the dash that may be broken? Thanks if you can help.

have you done a self diagnosis on your system? try the blend door motor, listen if you can hear it switching when working or check for broken flaps. i have a spare motor if you need it,big job, dash out

first remove the heater tap and check that the flap inside is opening and closing..

Yep, heater tap working ok, took a few heater hoses off, coolant nice and clean and tap flap working fine. I wonder if the heater hoses are incorrectly connected but they seem correct.

Using the self diagnostic test from the workshop manual, no fault codes were displayed on the climate control display. Turned the temperature up and could hear the heater flap move and then felt the warm air come through the vents both face and floor. The test must have triggered something in the electronics system so all good now!!! :D
