Hi Guy's i have a problem, I need to change my fuel pump in my 2004 BA XR8 sedan. How hard is it to do ? is it located in the tank like most Fords ? & how do i take off the 3 three fuel lines as they have quick snap clips on them. People i have spoken to say there usein them on a lot of cars & in differant application. But still no help at this stage. Also can i re use the quick snap clips. or do i need to get new clips. I hope some one can help me out.

gday,i work at a ford dealer ship, the pump is in the tank under the back seat, there are 3 lines if i remember and yes you can reuse the clips, they just push in and pull back on the line, not that hard really,i think the pump has a big lock ring holding it in the tank but i cant remember as it has been a while since doing a pump on an xr,they are pretty straight forward if you have done pumps and played with cars before

nah you dont need those little tools you can get away without them... you have to push the line as far onto the fitting as you can with one hand.. and then push the little clips the other way and it should all slide off.
