Got an ef v8, went to the car this morn, turned it over, and for the first time the thing wouldnt idle, so I persisted and got some heat into the engine, and then it started to idle, but real rough. So I replaced the leads, plugs, distributor cap and rotor, but still no difference, checked the fuel pump, ok, and the coil, ok. What can be causing it to not want to idle when cold, and when warm feel like its missing, with no real power, Maybe contaminated fuel, The maf sensor, anyone got any ideas. This came out of nowhere, when she was shut down, she was sweet, got the girlfriend to move the car and look what happens. :x

Yeah what EBXR8380 is saying. Clean the idle speed controller. Its on the rear side of the throttle body. If that doesnt work replace it.

Thanks guys I tried that, and the unit works fine, unfotuanetly it hasnt solved the problem, I beginning to think the coil, but it doesnt make sense to fire when warm and not when cold, the car has started to get worse , with it missing quite a bit at the lower rev range, anymore help would be appreciated.

Another stab in the dark might be to replace the TFI module, the grey unit on the dizzy.
If thats starting to break down then that could cause the problem you describe..
