hi all i have an elxr8 1996 auto with 12mths rego it has a new lpg system and runs duel fuel, also has 18inch chrome rims and good tyres, ok mp3 stereo it has 225k on the clock, new bushes in the front, new brakes all around, new shocks rear, only problem is the paint it has the clear coat coming off otherwise drives good, how much do you think i would get if i sold????????????????????????????????

My brother just missed out on a EL XR8 MANUAL with 115,000kms on it that sold for $7000 with good paint aind interior.

Agree, no way i gonna touch above 4 grand. on average 3000-3500 thats it. |

also the gas conversion is 8 weeks old and that by itself was $2700, and the clear i dont think is nothing much the rest of the car is excellent

my car had about 20k worth of mods and as i said in reply to ur pm these cars arent worth that much anymore as they are getting old. heck you can get a ba for under 10k now

well its not like im on the dole so to ME money isnt that much of a worry but im not saying that im better than anyone im just saying that it was enjoyable while i was doing it. its better than spending money on drugs lol

anyway i prob wont sell and just keep it i like this car, my bro paints thats the next move and then maybe garage tickford isnt around anymore, you never know what might happen later on

Y ask a question how much, then proceed to tell how much you've spent on it? If it has gas, add 500, 3k wheels... wow!!! add 500.... 200000+ worth s**t all!
keep it, its clear you don't want to sell it.... gas 8 weeks old... no offence, dumb question to start with.

Depends on interest. I personally would take it back to standard original condition and i think you still should get at least $5,000 Private sale and sell wheels etc seperatly. A clean one in a ford dealer would still probably fetch $12,000 as ive seen standard 97/98 EL sedans for $8,000 and a Ghia for $11,000 at coffey ford. Bu they probably paid about half that. Pity about paint otherwise you might of done better.
