hi im building a 302cleveland i would use a 351 crank but cant seem to find
a decent priced one here in nz so keeping the 302 crank just wondering how much power would i expect with this combo

Weiand Xcellerator
650dp holley
2V heads close chamber (later on boss heads)
mild cam(not sure which any ideas?)
FMX
and pacemaker headers, straight through twin 2,1/2" pipes

At a guess I'd say you could see a comfertable 160-190rwkw maybe

why not buy a cheap stroker kit?
I beam rods, cast crank, cast pistons.
roughly $800 -$1200 + balancing and block machining

How much work have the heads had done?
I'll be honest mate, if you're not doing much to the heads then don't expect a big gain, and for another the carb is WAY too BIG, that will drown a 302... i'd go back to a 600 Vac sec
The heads you are running are only stock 302 anyway, if they've been ported then you could gain decent HP if they've had a good job done on them.

Try this setup :

302 stock compression
with this crane blue racer cam CD224-52(http://www.cranecams.com.au/caminfo/fordcl7082.htm
Clean up the heads (up the valvesprings to suit cam and use single groove valves)
Weiand 2V 7516
650DP Holley
Twin 2 1/4" system

The above makes power to 5500rpm with a edelbrock performaner. Turns 163rwkw. Without extractors and using a stuffed dizzy (bent shaft doh!) ;) Add head work, keeping valve sizes the same, the extractors and the weiand I reckon you'll be a tad above 180rwkw.

A 600 Vac feeds a mild 351 with ease, some people like to go bigger, but bigger isn't always better.
To be honest, all the 302C's i have driven have been slugs, even with work done they just seem to have something missing, 302W are a different story.

The above combo I've driven all over Victoria. I can even tell you it gets 450-480k's per tank ;)

Vac sec carbs might work on windsors but clevo's like dp carbs.

No idea on 1/4 after the mods were done. It ran 15.2 stock. Diff ratio is 3.5:1 also.

It's in pieces again and also has a 351 now. He wrote his other XB off so he pulled the 302 and fitted the 351. The 351 puts out 255rwkw.

He pulled it apart as he wasn't happy with the job. He's never happy and is a perfectionist when it comes to body work. I'm pretty sure it's being sprayed in 2 pack now. I was out with him a few weeks ago buying a 17cfm compressor.
