how good are sealed power lifters (hydraulic). they are made by federal mogul i believe and i didn't think they did anything shonky?

They are a good brand.

FYI There are only 3 companies in the whole world making hydraulic lifters, and they supply all the lifters to OEM's and aftermarket companies which are then on-sold with their own branding eg Comp, Crane, Isky, Crower, Sealed Power, Elgin, Trickflo, Ford, GM, Chrysler etc.

thamks guys. it is obviously the same as bearings then. i ordered an engine rebuild kit for my 400 ex us and the engine bearings were made by ACL in Tassie and they were still cheaper to buy from the US along with all the other stuff and have them sent over. apparently most engine bearings are made by 3 or so companies also
