Hi all,

My first post to introduce myself. I am an electrical contractor from wollongong and I own a BA II XR8 with 18" wheels, premium brakes etc. My 26 yr old apprentice is a die-hard blue oval fanatic having owned many fords, XW,XR. Has latest ride which he has just finished is an XY ute with a 4V 370 Clevo running tunnel ram with twin 850cfm King Demon carbies on Methanol. I tell yah this thing is fast. He will be putting it on a dyno ASAP. He is expecting 500+RWHP. will keep you posted.
Here are some photos to wet your appetite.

If he did most the work on his car.. He's a GOOD apprentice!!!!!
Mind you its easier working on the car than climbing through roofs running wire or service mains. One flash and your ash...

In all honesty he has been with me for 1.5 yrs. He has been building this for bout 7 yrs. I will get some more photos of the car. Me personally I have been invloved with drag racing in NZ for 11 yrs and I have to say this is one of the toughest N/A cars I have heard. He runs 15:1 comp hence methanol. Cant tell you where he gets his methanol from. It runs 3" dual exhaust with a massive crackle out the tail pipes. It idles at 1600rpm due to the very large cam. Detroit Locker 9" C6 with 3800 stall. He plans to put 10" slicks on it and run at WSID street meet soon also.
