I have a timing cover from an american windsor. I thought any water pump would bolt to it but this afternoon when i had a look the aussie w/p was way too small!

Whats the go? Do i need a different water pump or timing cover? The timing cover i have may be off a 351, but i thought they were same as 302??

EB Falcon onwards 5.0s had the later style covers (same as 94-95 Mustang and 5.0L Explorers)

Thats off an old carb 302 as you can see the mechanical fuel pump port on the side.

Agree with the last post - I bought exactly that cover for my '95 EFI motor from the US, and fitted last night. Bought 2 more actually to offset postage - can let you have one for a good price if you like. There are in fact about 5 differnt covers (I originally bought the wrong one form the US!).

cheers

Or you could get this for $184US from Summit
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/FMS-M-8501-A50/

They are a perfect match, and come with a pump as well.
