the v8 K-Frame- v8 front springs are recommended and EFI loom not the whole lot..... its not really worth the conversion though or the trouble unless you REALLY love the sound of a v8. for good power your better off with a fresh AU 6 a nice grind cam . exhaust and bbm conversion, all depends how far you wanna go with either... the 6 is better value for money when it comes to working them there is less work and less costly basically everytime

Ah ok then, I really would like to put in a V8, if not I'll build up a nice 6 I suppose.
What part of the loom have to changed?, I know MRE-50L put a gas system on his, I wonder if that would cut down on wiring?

4.0's are boring....put a 351 in it. It's a piece-o-piss.

I like the way you think!

Good, then do it!
Seriously, as far as I'm concerned unless you can find a V8 car with a body in better condition than yours....just convert yours. Body condition is the most important thing because it's the most time consuming and therefore expensive part to fix.
It's easier if you find a donor V8 car for sure but it's not impossible to do without one either. A 351 conversion is not difficult either and if you spend the money straight up on a 351 based engine you haven't blown the money on unnecessary 5.0 stuff.

Yeah the body on mine is very good, just spent $1k getting the roof resprayed.
This 351 conversion sounds interesting, what sort of 351 do you mean though, fuel injected? I didn't know you could actually fit a 351 into an E-series and still keep it road legal  :D

Have you got a build thread for yours? :D

if your gona do a v8 conversion you might as well make it worth it by putting a 347 windsor in with a C4 behind it.
ohh and dont forget the 6/71 blower ;)

EDIT: forgot to add 3inch tail shaft 31splin billet axles full spool 3.7gear LSD. swirl pot and mini tubs.

for the 351 you may need to get it enginerred as it has more ci than the come with standard. you will need bigger brakes and will have to pass an imitions test if you want to do it all legally that is.
but that only if you want to get it registered.
