just wondering its sounding like my ed has an injector issue so was looking at changing them one side looks easy but the other side looks like you gotta take the intake off.is this right ?if i cant get it to run on both gas and fuel im thinkin of runnin it straight gas and dicing all the fuel side but ill look a bit harder first i think prob is as soon as it gets plugged in it comes up with faults on the gas side ie o2 sensor and a lot of outher stuff so i gotta get it to run on petrol first.
anyway thanx fellas

Yep, gotta take the upper intake off.
Check out http://www.profire.com.au for gas injection. You can go either dual fuel by plumbing gas lines from the gas injectors to holes drilled in the intake runners or remove the injectors and replace them with the gas injectors and mod your stock fuel rails to receive LPG for straight gas injection.

As far as I can tell the Kehin injectors are the only gas injectors that are the same style as petrol injectors. The other "LPG injectors" out there seems to be just solenoid valves and therefore will not fit into a stock rail.

Yeah I think they still get the good stuff standard (100% Propane), not the rip off automotive LPG we get, Butane(crap gas meant only for cigarette lighters) and propane mix, worse yet is the fact they keep altering the mix of Butane/Propane between manufacturers and time of the year.

The fuel manufacturers can make more money that way, finding a way of making decent money selling a gas nobody wants Butane but BIC.

BTW household BBQ type LPG is 100% Propane, I know lots of people use Automotive LPG for BBQ/heater etc but there is a danger in using it, burners are designed for 100% propane, so when using Automotive Butane/Propane mix it burns rich, which uses more oxygen, produces more Carbon Monoxide and carbon dioxide, so in an enclosed environment this has a potential to kill someone.

So is this vapour injection or liquid injection? Does it use the same tank as a conventional vapour system?

Vapour, they use the same Prins injectors (Built by Keihin Corp Japan) from the Prins LPG vapour injection system which Parnell Gas is the distributer in Australia.

As it is vapour it doesn't need a special tank like liquid system requires.

Look at this link for pictures of the injectors etc.

Quite often when gas conversions are done they neglect to cut power to the petrol injectors when the system is switched to LPG. So they f**k up because they've been opening and closing without any fuel to keep them cool. Better check to see that yours is ok.
