Hey just wondering if the Y pipe in the exhaust system of a XR8 Ute is the same size and shape as the Y pipe of an XR8 Sedan. Would the Y pipe from a ute fit into a sedan.

Which model?

B series yes*.

*Noting the XR8 and 3v motors come with different exhausts. so 3v to 3v is ok, XR8 to XR8 is ok. But you can't put a XR8 y-piece into a 3v system, and vice versa.
