I recommend Purolator PureOne filter if your after a fancy one.

haven't heard of that one, in the 5ltr you can just see the filter, so a fancy one wouldn't concern me that much

The micron count is whats different, but is it worth 25 bucks, or 4 bucks for a stock one.

they say it flows better, and its better for the internal motor parts, better for cold start and all that

Another major bonus with the K&N oil filter is the nut on the end.
It makes fitting and removal even easier.
