Hi was just alittle curious to know how quick a stock manual eb v8 would be if the diff was fitted with 3.91 ratio.
Im seriously considering buying another eb as mine would cost to much to fix, also patches of rust has started to appear. Thanks Brad |

mine did a 14.89 from an unopened EF 5ltr, 3.23 LSD diff, Explorer Intake, EL GT headers, and a set of roller rockers

awesome and how much quicker would it be if fitted with my 3.91 diff gears

dunno, I fitted a set of 3.7's, and when I had to throw a 3.23 diff back in to it due to breaking a pinion tooth, it felt super flat, so I would say that the gears will probably be good for maybe 2 tenths at those times

I ran a 15.8 with 3.45s in my near stock EL XR8.

i ran a 15.3 in my ef xr8. only a catback exhaust at that stage. my ef has 3.45:1 diff too.

I didnt think my car was that quick when std, I would be dissapointed if it wasnt in the high 13's now at least

yeah just wondering if those gears would be good for the manual, also going to put the raptor in the manual should be real fun.

I gained 3 tenths going from 3.23 to 3.73, but my car wasn't stock when I made the change
