I love those things, take one over an EB GT anyday of the week. Only thing that's iffy is the headlights, I thought they were built off a Ghia rather then XR?

What an awesome set up.

I might have to look into getting and airbox like that, perhaps make one up myself, looks really factory.

+1 for that over the EB GT, just looks so much tougher from the front.

When they first came out and in used cars I only remember the ED XR8 front, they weren't very fast considering they were supercharged.

These are f**k awsome

Unlike the HO 6, they where supercharged and still only did a 15second qtr mile pass :? the EBI XR6 was quicker lol

Yep that is right, in theory they should have wiped the EB GT and ED Sprint's a***, standard gearing, probably bugger all boost with a centrifugal blower, it was never going to work, from memory they said it was 230kw?

Really??

I woulda thought it would at least do a mid-high 14 with all that stuff on.

Still im sure with a smaller blower pulley and a bit on the fuel system she'll nudge 13's.

this era of fords 'performance cars' is so frustrating.
who exactly did they have working for them designing these cars!
rediculously gay body kits,
supercharged v8's that are almost as slow as the 6 cylinders. its quite pathetic.

although any car with allan moffats signiture on it is worth having in the garage

He's not expecting much with a starting bid of under 16 grand.
