Just asking any one , what mods the have found most successfull in unleashing a little more go from the old girl. Not real keen on openning her up yet , would like to play with bolt ons , not keen tampering with originalty too much. Car only has 120000 k's on it and is pretty immaculate.

Cheers

Besides , the 383 , nos injected XY in the shed is for the racing stuff....

Extractors, no question.
Stock headers are horrible.

Agreed

First open up your exhaust system with nice set of headers and free flowing exhaust

Then look into getting cold air into the intake and maybe new air flow meter and throttle body wouldn't go astray

Then you could look at aftermarket ignition which will give you better burn in the combustion chambers

After this it's time to open her up or throw on a s/c system

Hope this helps

Dual 2.5" is overboard, unless you have a Vortech S-trim lol
twin 2.25"s seem to be the way to go on the 185kw and up non stroked wheezers.
Stock Sprint exhaust is pretty good anyway (IF it's still there, not many have them anymore :()
Don't bother with MAF and TB on sprint, they are big enough.
Ditch the clutch fan for thermos, underdrive pullies if they tickle your fancy...
Bout all I can think off for now, engine wise.
Can always go diff gears, is it auto or manual?

The throttle body is o/k at 65mm but I can tell from my n/a mods that the Sprint maf is quite restrictive .. Trouble is they are 19lb calibrated and the Sprint eec changes calibration which is different to other Fords ...So you need a specific Sprint /Cobra maf...
Fitting an MSD would help.. porting inlet on 1 and 5 ports especially helps, "extrude hone" maybe??... As said good extractors as the GT40 heads are quite low flow on exhaust ports...

Already has exhaust fitted, other than that , completely stock. Unable to find someone that makes a cold air intake for these, they list em for the six's and later models. Feels a bit doey down low but get the revs up and it seems to pick up. Was thinking of constructing my own inlet pipe and ditchiing the bumpy original, and if i cant find a cold air intake make one out of ally and feed it from somewhere else. I believe the TB is a 70mm unit , same as the EB GT. Best option for remapping the computer anyone ??

TB and MAF are identical to EB GT, EL GT and FBT AFAIK.
Right down to corresponding square red stickers on maf and airbox lid :D
I'd say twEECer, it's the path I'll be taking on my own Sprint.
Mainly because I don't like the idea of handing it over to get all the tuning done and never being able to have a play myself.
CAPA eliminator switch and chiptorque are your only other real options.
