i thought stock t/b's were 58mm. either way a au one will be an upgrade.

I have just test driven an au 3 xr8 and yes it felt faster than my eb stock but with the diff change i use to stick with em, now tho the power compared to my xr8 id def leave the au behind.

Bang for buck id look at supercharging.

Unless you plan on spending a crap load of money realy modifing thes motors id say dont bother they are to breathless..

The only reason for my intake mods is just to make the car more drivable and make the most of what i have!
My XB FAIRMONT will be be fitted with CHI 3V heads roller cam 408 bottom end etc to the tune of around 550-600HP so i dont need a bananas car for work and back, but i will be needing my licence!

Listen to scaffy.....Chuck the TFS intake and get a Cobra or Explorer or Edelbrock performer intake and 65 t-body.
Bump your base timing to 32-33 degrees and adjust your tPS to 0.98 volts.
