how r u all, i just wanna tell u i just bought a 200 AU II XR8 :D ... this week ... and im only 17 .. this is my first car and i love it :P ... im 18 in 3 months .. it has leather .. sunroof ... premium sound ... 17"rims ... exhaust and only 82000ks ... i love it .... what do u all think .. there will b pix posted soon

All I can say is lucky bastard, I can't even afford one of those now, and I definitely couldn't back when I was 17yr old.

and when i bought my car, i never thought about the p platre thing in melbourne, but, oh well, i like it, it will have it's downs but it will also have it's ups :D , just try not to mod it much till off you p's.

Good pull mate, have fun trying to keep that one froim the coppers. I don't know how u'll get away with it, a big red p-plate and a XR8 badge isn't good in their eyes, illegal in fact :?

Ah well good luck to ya, my first car was an 88 Pulsar 5spd :( ah well made up for it 9 months later :wink:

Well all i can say is its and AU....

I know for a fact the 220's go hard though, how does yours go ?

Series 1 and Series 2... suck a**, granted it is a v8 200kw. Series 3 was aight, sort of.

Anyway good luck.... drive safely, doen't go killing yourself.

Dude take care.
One of my dads mates bought his son an XR8 (AU) for his 18th birthday, his son went out in it, and killed himself. His dad was destroyed, so be careful and drive sensibly.
Anyways good buy mate, all i need to do is convince my parents to let me buy a BA and i'll be right (will be getting my trust account opened next year).

im goin down 2 ford head office 2morrow 2 take sum fotos .. and i was driving with my old man 2nite .. n sum C**k head in a vs at da lights started revving at me n wanted me 2 drag ... i jus let him go ... im not gunna b a d***head on the road .. i wanna enjoy it 4 wat it is... thanx 4 the congratulations fellas
