Just have one muffler on a single system and it will sound better,so if there is two mufflers get one removed and get a pipe welded in,or if there is a hotdog get that removed

Straight pipe, no hotdog. The bark is great.

I run a single 2 1/2 " with one muffler at the moment and it has a good note and a great bark.

Buy a straight through muffler with no offset in it, with the smallest body you can find. Run that as the main muffler and a small resonator on the back it should be loud enough for you.

Otherwise cut the system off at the cats. If thats not loud enough go see the doctor about some hearing aids.

i agree i no offset small muffler is the way to go thats what i have on mine from the Y pipe back 2 1/2 people with no res and 1 no offset muff.

dont f**k with the cats not worth it , choping up cats is a cheap backyard dodgy job.

you have stock au v8 (non xr) and by upgrading the exhaust you now manage to 'chirp' into 2nd and 3rd. hmmm i'd have to see and hear that to even think about believing it sorry.

as for wanting it noisy, with extra noise comes extra attention. with the attention of the boys in blue firmly focused on cars, is that really what you want.
