Hi,
iv got an XD ute with 351 on gas. I am wanting to re route my exhaust to sit out the back.I emailed a few places and one bloke wanted around 200-250 a side to do this. This got me thinking, roughly how much would it cost for me to just get a whole new cat-back system (2.5inch i was thinking), as a dual system?, i could use my current mufflers to lower the price abit
thanks in advance

The only suggestion I would say is to put in a X pipe in the exhaust, if you don't you may find that you will get a real clap sound. When I put my 2 1/2" exhaust on my ute I put a H pipe in it but still got a clap sound to it but then changed to the X pipe and it sounds alot smoother. I think you can buy the X pipes pre fabricated for about $50. Good luck.

If you already have twin exhaust I'm assuming they come out at the sides behind the wheels then all you need is the tail pipes probly cost around 150 max. Take the ute to an exhaust shop so they can see what you want done rather than take a guess at the work required from an email.
