Finally got my Sprint! The drive back from sydney wasn't much fun, the weather was f**k, and I'm out of practice with a manual so i was shifting like a grandma... but I'm looking forward to the weather clearing up!!!! I'll post some pics when it's light and not raining...

Congrads !

very jealous.

I was over at Brad's place on friday arvo while he was cleaning the sprint before taking it over to give to your dad.
He was freaking out that everything had to be perfect for its new owner.

I thought he was gonna cry.

have you cracked 100,000km yet??

haha yeah dad was saying Brad was showing him pictures of when he put the sprint and tickford badges back on the sides... dad was stunned that he was measuring them up against his mates sprint to get them just right.
haven't clicked over to 100,000 k's yet, but i can imagine it won't be long.
It's a great car to drive, like i said before, I'm still in a bit of shock! Got some pics for those who haven't seen it, more coming in about an hour after i give her a wash.
Brad was saying it was the first time the car had seen rain in two years.

yeah - thats right - the car has been in storage for a while (he didnt want to crack 100,000km on it) so I am guessing the tyres werent too brilliant in the wet.

it was almost comical when he put the badges on. I was making jokes "do you want the spirit level too".

I actually filmed him doing that... I thought it was funny how pedantic he was being. I dont think he will let me show anyone the footage though - cos he was wearing a pink t shirt.
