new throttle body - cable linkage

Finally got it nutted but thought id post for anyone goin thru same thing at later stage. I had to mount the adaptor plate normally with the throttle body upside down. This was the only way I would fit the egr and throttle solenoid. Consequently I cannot connect water as the water and egr surfaces dont mate properly (water into manifold NOT GOOD). Little bit of rewiring but nothin much. Using holes in the back of the egr plate I made a bracket that comes from the rear and underneath tb so to mount the original bracket that was modded a little to suit.

Pics as follows, its not great but it works and will need a little realignment to get the cable moving freely.

Couldnt bore out original spacer as the water jackets wouldnt allow for it.

TPS fitted no probs with same screws.

Because it was mounted upside down I used the ball that came with it although i did fit another one as I planned to fit differently.

Hope this helps somebody someday.

so how are you going to adjust the TPS voltage

same as always, just a little bit of fiddling. Wasnt a real problem to be honest.
