I love the honesty, we all do it, including mechanics that forget to fill a Caterpillar 793 final drive with oil (Shift change overs and assumptions), only cost them about $78,0000 in damages, this wouldn't include the cost of down time.

Still, could you tone down the excellent work and maybe cut out using that brilliant powder coating gun and give us poor slobs a chance with our positively ordinary motors? :lol:

Man you have no idea how tempting the idea of purchasing a powder coating kit is... the only thing stopping me is the lack of a decent oven to bake the item after coating.

yeah i agree there. i work at the good guys so i should go buy an oven :P but i dont have the spare cash. we do have a few that would be good for baking

lol, i wish it was that easy. we are doing stocktake now so if it goes missing in 2 days time they wont know till 12 months time :P

Well done mate, its coming along well. Any particular reason why you're running timing gears instead of a chain? Surely the blower whine is enough isn't it :)
