Ok tell me what you think of my economy figures.

My car : EB II Ghia 5L V8 Auto

Genie Extractors -
3 Inch mandrel bent exhaust -
Straight thru muffler -
Straight thru pipes in cats -
K&N filter -
AU III XR8 Snorkel - Shift kit.

My economy figures are: 18 - 19 L / 100km for CITY driving
and the best for freeway: 15.5 L /100km for FREEWAY driving

Does this seem right or would it be a good idea to change my O/2 sensors. I have heard this can effect economy without really effecting the cars performance.
What do you think? Cheers

you can have your oxy sensors checked, they use multi meter to check ohms reading and voltage, another one is dirty MAF

That's high. My car uses 5L less in both city and highway driving.

Have you tried doing an ECU check to see if it has any errors with the MAF, O2 sensors, EGR etc?

Gah, sorry guys, I thought you had an EF for some stupid reason.

There is a way to do the test on EA-ED's, I'm not sure what it is, it could be the same as the EF/EL one, with the plug in the fusebox panel.

[Edit] Here's the EF/EL one, the EB-ED V8 ECU is virtually the same, so there will be a way to do it, I'm not sure what plug you need to use to read the faults though..

Yep, AU V8's run MAF's still.

Yes, they are bigger (70mm v 55mm) and they will bolt onto the E-Series airbox, but you need to either swap the sensor with an E-Series one, or cut the old MAF connection on and fit an AU plug.

How many kms has your car done... if more than 90,000 then I'd be changing them.
